The main bedroom, located on the ground floor, offers a king-sized extra-length bed, large ensuite bathroom with bath, shower, and double vanity, as well as tranquil canal views. A guest toilet and small office area complete the ground level.

Description

This exquisite home is located on Thesen Island. The house boasts being across the road from the Club house which has a playground, tennis and basketball courts and more as well as its own mooring and it is a mere stone’s throw from a private beach. Sleeping 6 and well equipped, it is perfect for your holiday requirements.

The space

The house has two bedrooms, a King and a twin bedroom, both of which are en–suite. Adjoining the house is a beautiful cottage with en–suite bathroom and large sliding folding doors with beautiful views. The house has its own boat mooring and slipway so you are able to bring your boat if you have one. There is a gas fire, indoor braai area, DSTV and WiFi. There is also a double and single kayak available for guest use. Should you have a young baby/toddler, a camp cot is also provided.The kitchen is well equipped and has a Nespresso coffee machine.

We do not live on the property so will meet you there with the keys. We are available during your stay for any questions you may have.

Neighborhood overview

Thesen Island is a secure estate with gated access. It has beautiful tree lined streets and is extremely safe for children to ride their bikes or go to the playground. Just across from the house is the Clubhouse. There one can find an extra–large chess set, tennis and basketball courts, a soccer field,playground and more! Thesen Island is home to the most fantastic restaurants and also has an array of boat cruises on offer. Not far from Thesen Island is the Knysna Waterfront which has some truly unique shopping on offer as well as assorted beautiful restaurants. You really don’t have to cook on this holiday if you don’t want to!

Getting around

Thesen Island has slow speed limits for the safety of your children. The roads are beautiful to walk along and many canals to explore.
